Use Gravity and Centrifugal Force
These oil cleaning centrifuges work so easy, that you don’t even have to be in the same building while your oil is being cleaned.
Oil goes in the top of the centrifuge, and gravity feeds into the centrifuge.
Then, the dirt and water is trapped against the wall in in the bowl, while clean oil is flung out of the bowl and collected in the basin, draining into your clean container.
So you need to have a dirty container of oil higher than the centrifuge, and a clean oil container below.
There are plenty of ways to have your setup. If you are limited on vertical space, you could use a variable speed pump to control the flow into the centrifuge.
Those of us using gravity flow, will regulate the flow of oil into the centrifuge with a manual ball or gate valve. Flow should be between 5 and 25 gallons per hour.

That’s right…gravity simply pulls the oil through the centrifuge. Dirt and water really pack in against the wall of the centrifuge, and the clean oil floats to the top, then get’s sprayed over the edges in a fine mist.
Oil Centrifuges like this are made for fine refining of virgin and/or waste oils to be used again as fuel or for lubrication.
