The HO-2 2.1/10 is a compact, heavy-duty positive-displacement gear pump designed for transferring lubricating oils, fuel oils, hydraulic oils, and other clean, lubricating fluids where dependable flow and higher discharge pressure are required.
Unlike centrifugal pumps, the HO-2 uses a positive-displacement gear design, providing consistent flow while developing up to 1.0 MPa (145 PSI) discharge pressure. This makes it particularly well suited for transferring heavier oils through longer hoses, piping systems, filtration equipment, and other applications where a conventional low-pressure transfer pump may struggle.
The pump is paired with a 2 HP Electric Farm Duty motor, providing a rugged North American motor package designed for demanding operating environments.

Farm Duty Motor
The pump is powered by a Farm Duty TEFC motor, selected for its high starting torque and durability in demanding environments. Farm Duty series features a 1.15 service factor, Class F insulation, IP54 protection, manual overload protection, Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI), an anti-rust-treated rotor, and an improved drive-end shaft seal to help protect the bearing from moisture and contaminants. The 1 HP version uses a capacitor-start/induction-run design.

Built for Difficult Oil-Transfer Applications
The combination of moderate flow and high pressure makes this pump especially useful for transferring viscous fluids where high-volume pumps aren’t necessarily the best solution. Its positive-displacement gear mechanism maintains flow against increasing system resistance and can develop substantially more pressure than typical utility oil-transfer pumps.
Typical applications include lubricating oil transfer, engine and gear oils, hydraulic oil, fuel oil, machinery lubrication systems, oil filtration and circulation systems, tank-to-tank transfer, and long-hose oil delivery systems.
For applications involving very cold or extremely viscous oil, flow and required horsepower will depend strongly on viscosity and temperature. The pump, motor, hose, relief protection, and suction plumbing should therefore be sized for the actual fluid conditions.
